August Recipe of the Month- Beef Burger

🍽 Serves 4 | 🕐 Cooking time: 8-10 mins



For Burger:

  • 650g Minced Chuck Steak

  • 2 tsp Olive Oil

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 2 tsp Black Pepper

For Garnish:



  1. Mix together the minced chuck steak, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder , salt and pepper in a bowl. Separate the mixture into 4 balls and flatten into burgers.

  2. Set the grill to a high heat and lightly brush the burgers with olive oil on both sides.

  3. Grill the burgers for approx 4-5 minutes on each side. A minute before removing the burgers, add a slice of Emmental cheese on top of them so it melts from the grill.

  4. Whilst the burgers are grilling, add the remaining olive oil to a frying pan and fry the bacon on a medium high heat for 4- 8 mins depending on how crispy you want it,

  5. Remove the burgers and place them into the burger buns. Top with the cooked bacon, salad leaves, sliced gherkins and sliced tomatoes.
